How to reach Agra by busBy Air:
The Agra Airport located 7 km from the city provides convenient flight service which has good access to various prime cities of the country. Numerous private airlines as well as government airlines provide smooth flight service to and from Agra. Apart from all these, there are numerous flights operating from Delhi to Agra.

By Trains:
The Indian Railways link the city of Agra conveniently to Delhi, the capital of the country. Several trains which include luxury trains like the Palace on Wheels which make travelling by train to Agra a pleasurable experience.

By Road:
Since the romantic city is situated near Delhi which is about 204km, it enjoys good motorable roads which make travelling by road a hassle free experience. There are plenty of sophisticated taxis, private coaches and buses running on a regular basis forming a smooth link between Delhi and Agra. One can easily get buses from the Idgah bus stand and Agra Fort bus stand.

 

Climate of Agra

Agra located in the norther part of India experiences extreme tropical climatic conditions. Summers begin in April and lasts till June marked by extreme rise temperature reaching 45 degree Celsius. Days are extremely hot and humid but the temperature dips down during night.

 

The rainy season begins in July and continues till September characterized by scanty rainfall increasing the heat and humidity. Winters usually set in December and lasts through January marked by chilling cold and and high amount of fog at times. The ideal time to visit this romantic city is during winters when the weather is really balmy.
